On this page, we’d like to share our internal quality standards for custom plush toys. All customized plush toys produced by Ziye Family follow a strict quality control process, outlined in the steps below. Additionally, third-party inspections are always welcome to ensure the highest standards.
Material Preparation
At this initial stage, all raw materials, including fabrics, threads, and accessories, are inspected for quality, durability, and compliance with safety standards. Only materials that meet our strict quality criteria proceed to the next phase, ensuring that every plush toy starts with the finest components.
Cutting the Materials
The cutting process is closely monitored to ensure precision in every measurement. Quality control checks are carried out to confirm that the fabric and materials are cut accurately to the required specifications. Any imperfections in the fabric or discrepancies in the cut are immediately addressed to prevent defects in the final product.
Assembly of Parts
During assembly, the parts of the plush toys are sewn together with great care, following meticulous guidelines. Each assembly stage is followed by quality inspections to verify that the stitching is consistent and all pieces are securely attached. Any weak spots or inconsistencies are identified and rectified immediately.
Stuffing the Toy
As the plush toy is filled with soft stuffing, our quality control team ensures that the material used is hypoallergenic, safe, and consistent throughout. We maintain strict standards regarding the amount of filling to guarantee the plush toy's comfort and longevity. Any excess or insufficient stuffing is promptly corrected.
Sewing & Detailing
This stage involves the sewing of intricate details, such as eyes, noses, and accessories. Our skilled seamstresses adhere to precise patterns, while quality inspectors perform a thorough review to ensure that each detail is flawless and securely attached. The smallest defects are identified, ensuring only the highest quality finish.
Final Stitching
All seams are double-checked for strength and durability. The final stitching ensures that every plush toy is securely closed and free of any loose threads or flaws. Quality control experts examine the integrity of each stitch, confirming that the toy meets our safety and durability standards.
Weighing and Quality Check
Each plush toy undergoes a detailed weighing process to ensure it aligns with our established size and weight specifications. In this stage, toys are also subjected to a comprehensive quality inspection where dimensions, stitching, and overall appearance are double-checked. Only toys that meet our precise standards move forward to the next step.
Cleaning & Inspection
After the assembly and detailing process, the plush toys are carefully cleaned to remove any stray fabric fibers or dust. This is followed by a meticulous inspection for any imperfections, including loose threads or stains. Only toys that pass this thorough inspection are cleared for packaging.
Sorting and Packaging
Plush toys are sorted based on their quality, ensuring that only the best products are packaged and ready for shipping. Our packaging process includes additional inspections to verify that each toy is safely secured in packaging to prevent any damage during transportation.
Packaging Process
The packaging process is just as important as production itself. Each plush toy is carefully packed with protective materials to ensure no damage occurs during transport. Quality control is applied to verify that the packaging is sturdy, labeled correctly, and that the toys are securely placed to avoid any damage.
Shipping & Delivery
Once packed, the plush toys are ready for shipment. Before dispatch, a final inspection is conducted to ensure that all packaging is intact, labeling is correct, and no product has been compromised. Our dedicated logistics team ensures that the toys are shipped on time, in perfect condition, and delivered to the customer with the same high standard of care.
Custom Plushies Production Process
During this stage, our quality control team conducts comprehensive full and sampling inspections. This includes checking the quality of embroidery, print details, and inspecting the unstuffed animal skins for any defects. The stuffing weight is also carefully measured to ensure consistency. Additionally, we verify the label information and carton markings in collaboration with the sales team to ensure accuracy.
At this stage, hand sewing, fur combing, and cleaning are carried out. Hang-tags are attached, and stretch testing is performed to confirm durability. Samples are taken from mass production for third-party safety testing. Metal detection is conducted, and the plush toys undergo final packing. This ensures that all toys meet safety and quality standards before they are prepared for shipping.
Once the toys are fully assembled and ready for shipping, our team performs the final AQL 2.5 standard inspection. If the internal inspection passes, the QC leader submits the inspection report to the sales team. If the inspection fails, the entire batch is sent back for rework and re-inspection to ensure compliance with our quality standards.
We strictly adhere to the sample approved by the client throughout production. All stitching is reinforced to withstand tensile tests, ensuring the plush toys are durable. We also ensure that there are no sharp edges, the toys are clean, and free from any unpleasant odors. Metal detection is mandatory before the toys are packed into OPP bags, and all bags are equipped with air holes and appropriate warning labels. Additionally, each carton undergoes a 10-time drop test to guarantee packaging integrity during transportation.
